Tender summary
The District School Board of Niagara seeks to pre-qualify multiple Suppliers of Record for the supply of equipment repairs, parts, and rentals for its Facility Services department across 79 elementary and 20 secondary schools in the Niagara Region. The contract runs two years from June 1, 2022 with two optional one-year renewals, and covers low-dollar-value, repetitively used parts picked up by DSBN personnel on an as-needed basis.
Key requirements
- Supplier must have a physical storefront located within suitable proximity to DSBN operating locations within the Niagara Region geographical boundaries
- Supplier must be able to supply equipment repair parts and rentals including but not limited to filters, belts, snow blower parts, lawn mower parts, tractor parts, floor scrubber parts, scrubbing pads, hoses, and vacuum parts
- Supplier must submit a Pre-qualification proposal to be added to the Suppliers of Record list
Special conditions
- DSBN complies with Broader Public Sector Directives as directed by the Province of Ontario
- Applicable trade agreements include Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, CETA, and CFTA
- Rolling submissions accepted throughout the life of the contract — no fixed deadline
- Suppliers already awarded prequalification under original contract 22194 do not need to resubmit
- Parts and supplies are to be picked up by DSBN personnel (supplier does not need to deliver)
