Key requirements

- Bid Bond (Digital) in the amount of not less than 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario
- Digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario
- Bid Bond must be in the form of Appendix E, CCDC220, or Surety Association of Canada form
- Undertaking to Bond must be in the form of Appendix F or Surety Association of Canada form

- AODA accommodation requests must be directed to the Region's Procurement Representative at vikti.patel@york.ca
- Non-mandatory site visit/information meeting on May 12, 2026 from 2:00–3:00 PM at 10424 Keele St, Maple, ON
- All questions must be submitted through the Bidding Website via the 'Submit a Question' button
What disqualifies a bid
- Hard copy bid submissions will be rejected
- Bids received after 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the closing date will not be accepted
- Bids from respondents who do not meet OHSMS certification requirements will be rejected from further consideration
- Bids not accompanied by a compliant digital Bid Bond of at least 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount will be rejected
- Bids not accompanied by a compliant digital Undertaking to Bond will be rejected
