Tender summary
Replacement of existing trench drains in the storage garage and bus wash areas at 55 Orlando Avenue, City of Richmond Hill. Work is as further described in Appendix C – Form of Contract.
Key requirements
- Electronic bid submission only through the Region's Bids and Tenders website; hard copy submissions will not be accepted
- Bids must be received no later than 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time by the submission deadline
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) certification as stated in RFT Particulars (Appendix A)
- Digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario, in the amount of not less than 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount
- Digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario
Special conditions
- AODA accommodation requests must be directed to the Region's Procurement Representative at Joy.Bello@york.ca
- Non-mandatory site visit/information meeting on May 13, 2026 at 10 AM at 55 Orlando Ave, Richmond Hill ON L4B 0B4; bidders must check in with security at the front gate
- All questions must be submitted through the Bidding Website via the 'Submit a Question' button
- Bid Bond must be in the form of Appendix E, CCDC220, or Surety Association of Canada form
- Undertaking to Bond must be in the form of Appendix F or Surety Association of Canada form, including digital Agreements to Bond or Consents of Surety
What disqualifies a bid
- Failure to meet OHSMS certification requirements as stated in RFT Particulars (Appendix A)
- Submission of a hard copy bid instead of an electronic bid submission
- Bid received after the 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time deadline
- Failure to include a digital Bid Bond of at least 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount
- Failure to include a digital Undertaking to Bond
