- Digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario (Surety Association of Canada form or equivalent)
- Surety company must be acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario
Special conditions
- AODA accommodation requests must be directed to the Region's Procurement Representative via email
- Mandatory site visit on May 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at 474 Fairy Lakes, Newmarket, ON L3Y 4Y7; gathering at main building entry
- All questions must be submitted through the Bidding Website via the 'Submit a Question' button
- Bid bonds and undertaking to bond must be in digital format
What disqualifies a bid
- Failure to meet OHSMS certification requirements as stated in RFT Particulars (Appendix A)
- Submission of a hard copy bid (electronic submission only accepted)
- Bid submitted after the deadline of 1:00:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
- Bid deposit (Bid Bond) of less than 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount
- Bid Bond or Undertaking to Bond not from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario
