Key requirements

- Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) certification as specified in RFT Particulars (Appendix A)
- Digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario, minimum 10% of Subtotal Contract Amount (CCDC220 or Surety Association of Canada form)
- Digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company authorized to do business in Ontario (Surety Association of Canada form or equivalent)

- AODA accommodation requests must be directed to the Region's Procurement Representative at Kim.Froats@york.ca
- Non-mandatory site visit/information meeting on May 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at 5676 Main Street, Stouffville (meet in parking lot at north vestibule entrance)
- All questions must be submitted through the Bidding Website via the 'Submit a Question' button
What disqualifies a bid
- Failure to meet OHSMS certification requirements as stated in RFT Particulars (Appendix A)
- Submission of a hard copy bid (only electronic submissions accepted)
- Bid submitted after the deadline of 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
- Failure to include a digital Bid Bond of at least 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount
- Failure to include a digital Undertaking to Bond
