Summary

Land use growth is a key driver of future travel demand in the transportation system, influencing traffic volumes, congestion, transit use, new capital investments, and policies in Ontario. The Ministry’s requires a Vendor to build an Ontario-wide top-to-bottom model capable of allocating land use growth with a fine spatial scale and multiple segmentations that serve as inputs to specialized travel demand and forecasting models maintained by the Ministry.
