Tender summary
Provision of armoured courier services to pick up bills, coins, cheques and other securities from various City facilities and deliver them to the City's designated bank (CIBC Currency Operations) or other locations. The contract term is five years from November 1, 2026 to October 31, 2031, with an optional renewal of up to five additional years.
Key requirements
- Must demonstrate appropriate staff to carry out armoured courier services
- Must demonstrate appropriate equipment to carry out armoured courier services
- Must demonstrate appropriate facilities to carry out armoured courier services
- Must demonstrate appropriate insurance to carry out armoured courier services
- Must demonstrate appropriate management policies and skills to carry out armoured courier services
- Must be capable of picking up bills, coins, cheques and other securities from various City locations
- Must be capable of delivering to CIBC Currency Operations or other designated locations
Special conditions
- Services must be performed at various City facilities as outlined in the Statement of Work (Appendix C)
- Agreement governed by Armoured Courier Services Agreement terms (Appendix B)
- City retains sole discretion to exercise optional renewal term of up to five years
