Tender summary
Construction of a retaining wall fall safety installation at George Anderson Public School (TDSB). Work must begin as soon as possible upon contract award and be substantially completed by August 30th, 2026.
Key requirements
- Digital Labour and Material Bond (Form 31) required if bid exceeds $500,000
- Digital Performance Bond (Form 32) required if bid exceeds $500,000
- HST must be included in bond amounts
- Only digital bonds accepted; must be sent to the Contract Specialist
- Project schedule must be submitted immediately upon contract award
- Substantial completion by August 30th, 2026
- Non-destructive work must be performed during regular hours
- Work affecting school operations must be carried out after hours or on weekends in accordance with city by-law
- If requested by Contract Specialist, complete price breakdown of Base Bid Price must be submitted within 5 business days of request
Special conditions
- Work affecting school operations must be scheduled after hours or on weekends per city by-law
- Installation Floater insurance required if applicable, covering supplies and equipment
- Contract Specialist (Priyanga Jeyarasalingam) must receive digital bonds directly
- Unofficial low bidder(s) may be contacted post-closing for a price breakdown at the sole discretion of the Purchasing Department
