Key requirements

• Contractor must be a qualified Physiotherapist
• Services must be provided to inmates at Atlantic Institution (Correctional Service of Canada)
• Must collaborate with multi-disciplinary health services team (nurses, physician, dietitians, radiology, dental, psychiatry, psychology, allied health professionals)
• Must provide services on an as-and-when-requested basis at institutional physician's or Manager Health Care and Rehabilitation Programs and Services (or delegate) request
• Must comply with CSC Commissioner's Directives (CDs), Health Services Policies, and Guidelines
• Must adhere to the National Essential Health Services Framework including any amendments issued by CSC during the contract period
• Supplier must be Canadian
• Contract includes security requirements (must meet CSC security clearance conditions)

• Security clearance required — contract includes security requirements as defined by CSC
• Work is performed within a federal correctional institution (Atlantic Institution)
• Services are provided to inmate population
• Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada (English or French)
• Open only to Canadian suppliers
• Not subject to any trade agreements

What disqualifies a bid

• Non-Canadian suppliers are ineligible to bid
• Failure to meet security requirements specified in the solicitation document
• Bid is not the lowest priced compliant bid
• Failure to comply with mandatory requirements as outlined in the full solicitation document
