NRC’s new Advanced Materials Research Facility at the CEI-Mississauga research centre requires a state-of-the-art partial pressure vacuum sintering furnace. This unit will enable the final stage debinding and sintering of green-state metallic parts produced by various additive manufacturing (AM) processes. The intended use is to sinter a variety of alloys in partial-pressure inert atmosphere conditions, with the aim of converting bound materials to fully dense functional materials. Ottawa, Ontario.
