The University of Ottawa (“University”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to invite qualified and experienced Architects (“Proponents”) to act as Prime, and to submit proposals for the provision of Professional services. The Proponent is required to provide comprehensive Professional services to address functional needs, mid-life fit-up, and deferred maintenance at the Minto Sportsplex building in a phased approach as outlined in the Scope of Work Documents.

Key requirements

• Must be a qualified and experienced Architect
• Must act as Prime consultant
• Must provide comprehensive professional architectural services
• Must address functional needs, mid-life fit-up, and deferred maintenance at Minto Sportsplex

Special conditions

• Work is for a university sports facility which may require coordination with ongoing operations
• Phased project delivery approach required as outlined in Scope of Work Documents

What disqualifies a bid

• Proponent is not a qualified Architect
• Proponent does not agree to act as Prime consultant
