Tender summary
The RCMP requires supply of brown, unlined leather gloves in women's and men's sizes, with firm quantities and flex quantities available over 36 months post-contract award. All goods must be Canadian-made in accordance with CFTA Article 503.4(b).
Key requirements
- Goods must be Canadian goods as defined under CUSMA Rules of Origin (wholly manufactured or originated in Canada, or containing imported components that have undergone sufficient change in Canada)
- Compliance with RCMP Ineligibility and Suspension Policy administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada (supplier integrity and compliance provisions)
- Environmentally preferable packaging specifications must be met (mandatory requirement per Policy on Green Procurement, Greening Government Strategy, and Ocean Plastics Charter)
- Ability to supply 768 Gloves, Brown, Leather, Unlined, Women's (firm quantity)
- Ability to supply 888 Gloves, Brown, Leather, Unlined, Men's (firm quantity)
- Ability to supply 800 Gloves, Brown, Leather, Unlined, combined Women's and Men's in regular (flex) sizes as-and-when requested within 36 months of contract award
Special conditions
- Requirement is solely limited to Canadian goods per Article 503.4(b) of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
- Submissions and enquiries accepted in either official language of Canada (English or French)
- Environmentally preferable plastic products and reduced plastic packaging waste required per Policy on Green Procurement, Greening Government Strategy, and Ocean Plastics Charter
- Bidders are solely responsible for monitoring GETS for amendments; no notifications will be sent by Canada
- Indigenous businesses encouraged to register with the federal Indigenous Business Directory (IBD)
What disqualifies a bid

- Supplier is ineligible or suspended under the RCMP/PSPC Ineligibility and Suspension Policy
- Bid is non-responsive (does not meet mandatory requirements)
