Colliers Project Leaders is seeking the Services of a fire and life safety consultant The intent of this project is to replace the existing multi-nodded Simplex 4100U fire alarm system with a modern system to bring the building up to current Code, reduce maintenance costs and ensure building safety for the foreseeable future. Consultant Scope: • Design a new addressable system that meets all codes, standards, and IO Guidelines. • Replace the existing fire alarm system with an in-service model.

Key requirements

• Must be a qualified fire and life safety consultant
• Design must meet all applicable codes and standards
• Design must meet IO (Infrastructure Ontario) Guidelines
• Replacement system must be an in-service addressable model

Special conditions

• Must adhere to Infrastructure Ontario (IO) Guidelines
• Replacement system must be an active in-service model (not discontinued)

What disqualifies a bid

• Proposed replacement system is not an in-service (currently supported) model
• Design does not comply with applicable codes, standards, or IO Guidelines
