Supply and installation services for repair, replacement, and upgrading of steel beam guide rail systems (SBGR), including end treatments and structure connections, at various locations throughout the City of Thorold. Initial 2026 locations include Decew Road, Beaverdams Road, River Street, and Cataract Road, with additional provisional and service rate locations possible.
Key requirements
- Bidders must be registered with Bids and Tenders portal
- RFT must be obtained directly from The City of Thorold public purchasing portal (https://thorold.bidsandtenders.ca)
- All work must be completed in accordance with current Ontario Provincial Standards (OPSS/OPSD)
- All work must comply with the MTO Roadside Design Manual
Special conditions
- Work must conform to Ontario Provincial Standards (OPSS/OPSD)
- Work must conform to MTO Roadside Design Manual
- Additional locations may be added as Provisional Items and/or under Service Rate provisions
- Provisional item scope includes replacement of existing fish tails with 3 SBEAT systems at Cataract Road
