Tender summary
Two-phase mechanical/building systems project at a Toronto District School Board (TDSB) facility involving DDC (Direct Digital Controls) work in Phase 1 and Boiler work in Phase 2. Work must be scheduled to minimize disruption to school operations.

- Phase 1 (DDC) must be substantially completed by August 31, 2026
- Phase 2 (Boiler) must be substantially completed by August 31, 2027
- Non-destructive work must be performed during regular hours
- Work affecting school operations must be carried out after hours or on weekends in accordance with city by-law
- If requested by Contract Specialist after closing, unofficial low bidder(s) must provide complete price breakdown of Base Bid Price within 5 business days
- Installation Floater insurance required (if applicable) with sufficient coverage for supplies and equipment
Special conditions
- Work impacting school operations must be performed after hours or on weekends per city by-law
- Digital bonds only - no paper bonds accepted; bonds must be sent to Contract Specialist Vicki Kostopoulos
- Purchasing Department may at sole discretion request a full price breakdown from the unofficial low bidder(s) after closing
- Contractor must start project as soon as possible upon contract award
- Installation Floater insurance coverage at contractor's discretion for sufficient coverage of project supplies and equipment

- Submission of paper (non-digital) bonds
- Bonds submitted without HST included
