The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) intends to enter into a contract with a single contractor for the provision of commercial off-the-shelf tax preparation software to support the delivery of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and the Income Tax Assistance – Volunteer Program (ITAVP) in the province of Quebec. The CVITP and ITAVP are community-based outreach programs designed to help individuals with low income and simple tax situations complete their income tax and benefit returns.
