Tender summary
Design, supply, and installation of a playground (Project A) and/or splash pad (Project B) including associated surfacing at St. Moritz Park in Waterloo, Ontario. Successful prequalified applicants will be named in final tender documents and act as subcontractors to the awarded General Contractor.
Key requirements
- Supply all labour, material, and equipment necessary for design and installation of playground and/or splash pad
- Must be a playground, splash pad, and/or water play equipment supplier
- Ability to act as a subcontractor to the successful General Contractor after tender award
- Must comply with project budget caps: playground not to exceed $335,000 (excluding taxes) and splash pad not to exceed $175,000 (excluding taxes)
Special conditions
- This is a prequalification (RFPQ) process, not a direct contract award
- One-step procurement process leading to a Notice of Pre-Qualification
- Successful applicants will be subcontractors to the General Contractor, not prime contractors
- Applicants may bid on Project A (playground), Project B (splash pad), or both independently
- Evaluation will be completed separately for each project

- Proposed design or product costs exceeding $335,000 (excluding taxes) for the playground
- Proposed design or product costs exceeding $175,000 (excluding taxes) for the splash pad
